Drink More Water It may seem like a paradox, but when you’re retaining too much water, it’s a sign that you actually need to be drinking more water. Many people are chronically dehydrated, which means that your body doesn’t have enough water for your kidneys to function efficiently and to flush excess sodium out of your body. Aim to increase your water intake gradually and it should help your bloating to diminish.
